The deceased are remembered at a special Liturgical Service called "Saturday of the Souls". As Orthodox Christians it is our sacred duty to remember and pray for the souls, both known and unknown to us. Parishioners are reminded to offer small dishes of "Koliva" to the church and to submit a list of names as well as an offering for the repose of the souls to the priest.
